The beautiful Jackie went to school in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After graduating high school, she migrated to New York City. She had dreamt of being an actress since being a child, and gained roles early. Her debut being modeling clothes and drinks commercials.

Jackie was landed a job in a local radio show called "El Vacilon de la Mañana" (Goofing Around in the Morning). Soon after a Miami producer heard her and invited her to a station in Florida. After accepting the role, she settled in Miami and signed on to the HBC radio company, where she Co-hosted a program as well as doing the news and traffic. She was also given her own music show on Salsa FM. In Miami she also got a job as traffic reporter for "Telemundo" Channel 51.

Jackie Guerrido currently is the weathergirl for "Despierta America" (Wake-Up America), one of the most highly rated television programs in the Latino community in America and she also is a CO-host of "Primer Impacto" (First Impact).

Jackie is divorced and has two children, ages 13 and 15. Jackie Guerrido was also given the title of "Good Will Ambassador" of the Puerto Rican Day Parade celebrated in NYC.
